   1) Decide if Band is right for you.

 

    2) Select Band as your #1 elective choice on your schedule sheet.

 

    3) Use the Instrument Selection Guide to choose 3 instruments you would like to try-out on.  Keep an open mind about all of the instruments because they are all fun to play.  The directors will help you pick the one that is just right for you!!

 

    4) Email Linda Whitaker to make your appointment to meet with the directors in the Spring. 

 

If your student is interested in percussion he/she will need to attend a special percussion try-out in addition to one of the appointments listed above.  The date for the percussion try-out is Feb 27.  Students interested in percussion must attend this try-out and another instrument test night.
